RFP/Q For Upgrading a water line

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/QUALIFICATIONS

TOWN OF ESTO

The Town of Esto, Florida, is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms interested in providing professional construction services in conjunction with the Town’s project of upgrading a water line located at Well #2, located at 3381 Third Ave. Esto, FL. 32425.

Professional services required shall be secured in accordance the City’s Procurement Policy.  Proposals for the services will be considered on an equal competitive basis.  Proposals for construction services will be negotiated after ranking in compliance with the Florida Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act, Section 287.055 F.S.

Entities interested in submitting a proposal(s) should contact Ms. Yvonee Hagans, Town Clerk at (850) 263-6521 to request a copy of the Request for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/Q).  A copy of the RFP/Q may also be requested by sending a letter by mail to the following address: Town of Esto, 3312 2nd Avenue South, Esto, Florida 32425.  The letter should request a proposal package which details the proposed project, scope of services required, proposal requirements and the criteria under which proposals will be evaluated.  Proposals must be received by 11:00 AM December 15, 2021, to be considered.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any irregularities in the proposal process.  Any awards resulting from this solicitation will be made to the most responsible firm or firms whose proposal is evaluated and judged to be in the best interest of the Town of Esto.

– Amanda Lukens – 3 votes

– Gregg Wells – 31 votes

Gregg Wells will be sworn in the first Council meet of 2021.

Please take notice that a General Election scheduled for the Town of Esto, Florida on the 7th day of December 2020, for the purpose of electing one (1) council member for seat number two (2).

The following individuals have been nominated for the offices designated to be filled at the General Election to be held on Monday, 12.07.2020

– Amanda Lukens; Esto, FL

– Gregg Wells; Esto, FL

Said election will take place at the Town Hall of the Town of Esto; 3312 Second Ave. S., Esto Florida. The polls will be open from 7AM until 7:00 PM.

Absentee ballots may be obtained from the Esto Town Hall during normal business hours.  Mon thru Thursday from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm

Residents will be required to show proof of identification before being allowed to vote.  NO EXCEPTIONS

Council Election

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Esto will hold an election to select council members for seat number Two and Four on Monday, December 7, 2020.
The qualification period begins Monday, November 09, 2020 at 8:00 am and ends on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Qualifying packets, including rules for qualification may be picked up at the Esto Town Hall located at 3312 Second Avenue South; Esto FL., during the qualifying period. Packets are to be returned to the Esto Town Hall.
To qualify, the candidate must reside within the Esto Town limits for the past 6 months, be a legally qualified voter of the Town of Esto and be current in any and all payments due to the Town of Esto. Qualifying packets may be picked up at the Town Hall prior to the qualification period.
Voting for the council seat, if required, will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Esto Town Hall at 3312 Second Avenue South; Esto FL., from 7am until 7pm.
According to Town Resolution No. 17-08, the Town Clerk shall serve as the Supervisor of Registration and the Election Clerk and shall appoint a minimum of three election pollsters and one guard no later than ten days prior to election.
