    Contact Information

    You do not have to provide a contact method when submitting a request. However, if we need to charge for staff time or research fees, or if we have questions about your request, we will wait for you to get in touch with us. For requests that are submitted without contact information, the copies will be held for 30 days for you to pick up.

    Service Charges

    According to Florida law, a fee will be charged for the time spent by staff to locate, research, review, remove confidential information, copy, and re-file records. This applies if filling the public records request will take longer than 15 minutes. You will receive an estimate before we begin processing your request if your request will incur service charges. You will need to pay the estimated cost upfront. Any difference (whether more or less) will be settled once the request is complete. If your request will incur service charges, and we do not have your contact information, we will hold your request until you approve the charges.

    Request Details

    Be as specific as possible, including name, dates, case numbers, etc, if known.

    Requests sent by email do not incur copy charges. However, service charges may still apply if staff time or other resources are needed.
