Boil Water Notice Lifted

July 01, 2025 – The town of Esto, Florida, is pleased to announce that the precautionary boil water notice, which was issued due to a loss of pressure at our water wells, has been lifted.

Following the return to full pressure and testing conducted by Esto Water Works, all microbial samples taken from the water system have tested negative for dangerous pathogens. As a result, the water is now safe for consumption and all normal water uses.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our residents and businesses during this time. Residents are no longer required to boil water before consumption or use. The water quality in Esto meets all regulatory standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

For further information contact the Esto Town Hall at 850-263-6521 (open Monday-Thursday & Saturday from 7AM-1PM).

A Precautionary Boil Water Notice is now in effect for the entire Esto Water System.

Due to power surges during today’s (June 28, 2025) storm, the Town of Esto’s water system pump was disrupted, causing low water pressure throughout the system.

Esto Public Works crews are working to resolve the issue, and water pressure should be restored soon.

As a precaution, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute. Alternatively, bottled water may be used.

This notice will remain in effect until water quality tests confirm that the water is safe to drink.

If you have any questions, please contact the Esto Town Clerk at (850) 263-6521 or email estotownclerk@gmail.com. Updates will also be posted on www.estoflorida.com.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
