Request for Engineering Qualifications (RFQ) – CDBG Grant #26DB-N02

The Town of Esto is requesting Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms to provide services for a Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the Neighborhood Revitalization category.

The Town has been awarded Grant #26DB-N02 in the amount of $949,692. Funding will support water system improvements and park improvements.

Scope of Engineering Services:
Services may include:

  • Preliminary engineering
  • Design services
  • Elevation surveys (and boundary surveys, if needed)
  • Geotechnical services
  • Related additional engineering services
  • Construction inspection
  • Construction contract administration

Evaluation Criteria (100 points total):

  • Successful Engineering Experience – 30 points
  • Proposed Approach – 25 points
  • Engineering Experience with Rural Communities – 25 points
  • Qualifications of Project Staffing – 15 points
  • Ability to Stay Within Project Budget – 5 points

Submission Requirements:
Please include:

  • Current Certificate of Professional Liability Insurance
  • Documentation of Engineering Registration / License

Submit one (1) original and five (5) copies of a sealed response clearly marked:
“RESPONSE TO THE TOWN OF ESTO REQUEST FOR ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS”

The contract is contingent upon release of funds by the funding agency.

Under Section 287.133(2)(a), Florida Statutes, firms on the convicted vendor list may not submit a response.
