Job Opening: Water Operator
The Town of Esto is excited to announce a job opening for a skilled Water Operator to oversee our water treatment operations and distribution system. This is a contract position with a monthly salary, requiring no more than 20 hours of work each month, offering flexibility to fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the operation of water pumping and treatment equipment.
- Monitor and record data, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct water sampling and perform basic tests to ensure safe drinking water for our community.
- Maintain and repair water treatment facilities and equipment.
- Prepare and submit monthly operational reports.
Qualifications
- A valid Florida Class “C” or higher drinking water license is required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and water treatment regulations.
Additional Information
- Must be available for on-call emergencies.
- The role may involve physical activities and exposure to various environmental conditions.
