Payment Due Dates

Water Works bills are due by the 10th of each month. If payment is not received by the 11th, a $20 late fee will be applied to the account.

Disconnections for non-payment are determined on the 16th of each month. Final notices are hand-delivered to customers with outstanding bills. Accounts that have not been paid by the next business day will be disconnected.

For accounts that are disconnected for non-payment, a $35 disconnect fee will be charged, in addition to any outstanding bills. The disconnect fee must be paid along with all other unpaid charges before service can be reconnected.

If you experience abnormal usage or suspect a water leak, you may request a one-time bill adjustment. Please contact us to discuss your situation, and we will assist you with any adjustments that may apply.

Rate Adjustments

The Town of Esto adjusts water rates annually as part of our Revenue Plan. The goal of the revenue plan is to ensure that the Town can continue to provide high-quality water service to all residents and businesses while maintaining the long-term health of our water system. These adjustments help cover the ongoing operating costs, including the maintenance and replacement of aging infrastructure, as well as future improvements. Esto Water Works’ Revenue Plan was developed in 2021, in partnership with the Florida Rural Water Association.

We understand that no one welcomes an increase in utility rates, and we want to assure you that we have carefully considered this decision. Our priority is to continue providing you with safe and reliable water services while managing the costs effectively.

Your bill may be higher if you used more water than usual, if there was a leak on your property or if there was an error reading your meter. Check out our page on reading your meter to see how to double check your meter reading and learn how leaks may be detected.
