Every year Esto comes alive with excitement and tradition during the Two-Toed Tom Festival. This unique celebration honors the legendary alligator, Two-Toed Tom.

The Two-Toed Tom Festival has something for everyone! Whether you’re a history buff, a nature enthusiast, or just looking for a fun family event, you’ll find plenty of activities to enjoy. The Two-Toed Tom Festival takes place every year on the 2nd Saturday in September at John Clark Park, which features plenty of space for activities, food trucks, vendor booths, and more.

The Legend of Two-Toed Tom

The story of Two-Toed Tom dates back to the early 1900s and revolves around the notorious alligator with a distinctive footprint. With a reputation for being larger than life, Tom terrorized the Florida-Alabama state line, becoming a local legend. He was known to be an elusive and fierce creature, and stories of his exploits have been passed down through generations. Over the years, his legend has grown, symbolizing Esto’s rich natural heritage and the spirit of adventure that defines our town.
