JANUARY 09, 2025: The town of Esto, Florida, is under a boil water notice following a loss of pressure at our water wells on January 09, 2025.
As a precautionary measure, the town advises all residents and businesses to boil their water before consumption or use until further notice. This includes drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and any other activity that involves the use of water.
The Esto Water Works has successfully resolved the issue, and water pressure has been fully restored to the town’s water system. However, as part of the standard protocol, microbial samples are being taken.
The boil water notice will be lifted once these samples have been tested and confirmed negative for dangerous pathogens. We understand the importance of having safe and clean water for our residents, and every effort is being made to expedite the testing process. The town of Esto appreciates the understanding and cooperation of its residents during this time. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
