As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the reliability and sustainability of Esto’s water infrastructure, the town implemented a Revenue Plan in 2021. This plan, developed in collaboration with the Florida Rural Water Association, aims to secure the long-term viability of our water resources and guarantee the continued delivery of high-quality water services to every household and business in our community.

The revenue plan called for periodic increases to the town’s water rates. Starting on January 1, 2024 there will be an adjustment to our water rates. This change is necessary to ensure the continued availability of clean, safe, and reliable water services for all residents of Esto.

The revised water rates will be as follows:

Reasons for the Rate Increase

Infrastructure Maintenance: The increased rates will contribute to essential maintenance and upgrades of our water infrastructure. This will help prevent water service interruptions and ensure the long-term reliability of our water supply.

Quality and Safety: We are committed to maintaining the highest standards for water quality and safety. The rate adjustment will support investments in advanced water treatment processes and monitoring systems.

We understand that no one welcomes an increase in utility rates, and we want to assure you that we have carefully considered this decision. Our priority is to continue providing you with safe and reliable water services while managing the costs effectively.

If you have any questions or concerns about this rate increase, please do not hesitate to contact the Town Clerk at 850-263-6521. Or stop by the Town Hall – it is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM.
