Equal Employment Opportunity
The Town of Esto will not discriminate in employment, employee development, or employment advancement because of religious or political opinions or affiliations, race, color, national origin, sex, age, physical handicap, or other non-merit factors, except where such factor is a bona fide occupational qualification or is required by State and/or Federal Law.
Our continued success depends heavily on the full and effective utilization of qualified persons, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status or any other protected classes covered by law. We strive to hire, develop, and retain the most qualified people we can find – basing our judgment on each individual’s job-related qualifications, capabilities, and potential.
It is the policy of the Employer to cooperate to the fullest extent with the applicable regulations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1975 as amended, the National Labor Relations Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN), and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. Therefore, we intend that all matters related to advertising, recruitment, hiring, placement, transfer, training, compensation, benefits, promotions, demotions, layoffs, and all policies of employment be free of discriminatory practices.
